For those of you who know my crazy obsession with my chilean rose hair tarantula Spidey, you’ll know that every year she gets an amazing spider Halloween costume that she debuts on October 31st. She’s been doing this for years, and even gets a little help from all her followers and friends across the internet!

Every year before Halloween, I take tons of suggestions from her many admirers and we have an official vote to help her decide which Halloween costume she’ll try out this year (Disclaimer: these spider Halloween costumes are ALWAYS done in Photoshop, not real life. It is dangerous to try to dress your tarantulas up; please never do this).

This year, for Halloween 2019, you all voted for Spidey to be a character from The Nightmare Before Christmas. That’s an amazing choice, my friend, and Spidey and I were more than happy to collaborate to make sure that she made the perfect Jack Skellington, one of her very favorite characters! And because this is our very first Halloween with little Blinky, our Arizona blonde sling, Spidey had a Halloween sidekick who got in on the fun, too – with an adorable Zero doggy costume!

So without further adieu, here’s our spider Halloween costume for Halloween 2019:
